Engineering and design typically account for 5% to 10% of the total project cost, depending on the complexity, scale, and regulatory requirements of the development.

  • For basic infrastructure (roads, utilities, grading), plan for ₹5 lakh to ₹15 lakh per acre
  • Includes civil, structural, electrical, and plumbing design scopes

Scope of Professional Services

The budget covers concept planning, construction drawings, technical reports, and regulatory submissions.

  • Site planning and layout design: ₹1 lakh to ₹3 lakh
  • Architectural and structural engineering: ₹2 lakh to ₹5 lakh depending on built-up area
  • MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) design: ₹1 lakh to ₹4 lakh for industrial use

Specialized Studies and Add-Ons

Some projects may require additional studies based on land conditions or approval processes.

  • Geotechnical and soil testing coordination: ₹50,000 to ₹1.5 lakh
  • Stormwater, drainage, and ETP design: ₹1 lakh to ₹2.5 lakh
